Typically Capt. Justin focuses on live bait to catch Striped Bass and other Bass.  The Georgia State Striper Record was caught on April 3, 2010 weighing in at  over 47 pounds.  Most striper caught in Lake Lanier that are in the 3 pound to 10 pound range, but routinely we catch fish in the 15 pounds to 30 pounds range.  A Preferred bait for both the striper and other bass are Blueback herring but also eat Shad.
